氣體和液體的擴散系數有很大的差別,但是不論是在哪一相中,一種物質(zhì)換成另一種物質(zhì)的擴散系數的變化不是很大的。氣體的溶解度的變化卻是很大的,這就是對給定的過(guò)程中決定是氣膜控制還是液膜控制的主要因素。
物理吸收中液體的吸收能力是由被吸收物質(zhì)的溶解度所決定的。許多氣體的溶解度是低的,如果液體中含有一種能與被吸收組分起反應的物質(zhì),因而破壞被吸收組分,那么可以提高液體的吸收能力。Co2被NaOH溶液吸收可以作為一個(gè)例子。假如吸收劑能廉價(jià)地再生,那么將適合于工業(yè)規模。在某些場(chǎng)合中,可以用加熱使吸收反應逆轉的方法來(lái)完成。用乙醉胺水溶液吸收H's或COz即是一例,或者是用碳酸鉀鹽和酸性碳酸鉀鹽的水溶液吸收CO2,弱酸性氣體可以把溶液再加熱予以趕出,因而在冷卻后可以再循環(huán)到吸收系統中去。
